Introduction To Design
Here is a sample gallery of projects and assignments created using Inventor Professional, an Autodesk three dimensional modeling program. CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) programs such as Autodesk Inventor when combined with advances in three dimensional printing allows you to make the physical part in class. This program transforms flat drawings into interactive models that easily allow you to view the design from any angle. As part of PLTW (Project Lead The Way) a nationally recognized pre-engineering program, students are trained in the visual communication skills needed for game design, architecture, interior design, and any career that combines both art and engineering technology. The course satisfies the University of California fine art or F credit. The course is offered at Independence High School, in the East Side Union High School District, located in San Jose California.
